Need a PDF viewer for XP/2000 that's free, fast and small? Here's one that won't update itself or break your operating system like Adobe's offerings.

We highly recommend the compact PDF reader available from FOXIT software.
It's just over 200k in size, far smaller than Acrobat and much nicer to use. We've used it for several years, and it integrates nicely into Mozilla firefox.  

One of the best terminal based SSH clients for Win32 - and very useful for remote administration of all kinds is Putty, developed by Simon Tatham of Cambridge, UK. It has an excellent user interface, and it's quite useful for connecting UNIX and LINUX systems. It's also easy to customize and modify for other applications. It won't interface to serial ports, but is otherwise quite capable.
